Following on from last years hilarious play “Cupid Wore Skirts”, The Delgany Golf Club Drama Group are performing another of Sam Cree’s plays – “The Mating Season“.
Performance dates are 14th February for 4 nights and 21st February for 4 nights. Curtain rises at 8pm.

This timeless comedy revolves around widower Sid Gillespie who’s lady friend only agrees to take his hand in marriage if he gets his family to move out of his house. Sidney James (of “Carry On” fame, for those of us old enough to remember) was playing the lead role in the theatrical version of this play when he died of a heart attack on stage in Sunderland on April 26th 1976
